The holidays are a busy time. You have gifts to buy, lights to put up and trips to plan all on top of your regular responsibilities. If you're feeling like you won’t have the time to bake cookies for Santa (or that fourth holiday potluck you’ve been invited to), then we have just the solution!
We’ve rounded up a list of some of our favorite locally-made cookies. Sandy Springs is home to several cafes and bakeries that have delicious treats everyone will love. Santa will be thrilled to see any of these cookies next to a glass of milk on Christmas Eve, and you won’t have to clean up the kitchen!

Not only are they delicious, but they are also a colorful addition to any holiday meal. Luckily, Café Vendome has two locations in Sandy Springs.

Chocolate Chip Cookies from Breadwinner Café
Back to Top of ListOkay, Breadwinner Café & Bakery is really known for its homemade breads. It’s in the name after all! And while those make excellent gifts (the cranberry-orange bread made Oprah’s list y’all), we really love their cookies, too. Their gigantic chocolate chip cookies will be the perfect midnight snack for Santa!
Candycanesnaps from Susansnaps
Back to Top of ListThis family-owned bakery is dedicated to one particular type of cookie, the gingersnap. Susansnaps was founded by the mother- daughter team, Laura and Susan Stachler. After Susan was diagnosed with cancer, her mother Laura realized that ginger was the perfect stomach soother for chemo. That led them down the path of opening their own bakery and writing the book “The Cookie Cure.” You can find the gingersnaps that started it all at their store in Sandy Springs, along with delicious variations like the festive Candycanesnaps. The cookies can also be ordered and shipped if a trip to the shop isn't possible.
