Halloween is almost here! But why only celebrate on one day when you can have a whole week of fun? Sandy Springs has a number of Halloween events happening in 2019.
You can turn the Saturday before Halloween into a full day trick-or-treating extravaganza! There are three different family-friendly events happening on October 26. Not only will kids get some extra candy, but they will be able to wear their costumes more than once.
Are you really just here for the boos and brews? Well you are in luck! There are Halloween costume parties at some of best local restaurants and breweries in Sandy Springs.

Phidippides Atlanta Halloween Group Run
Thursday, October 24, 6:30pm-9:30pm
Phidippides Atlanta is hosting their annual Halloween Group Run with a spooky three mile route. Costumes are strongly encouraged. After the run, there will be food, beer, pops, music and a costume dance contest.
Trick-or-Treat at the Concourse
Saturday, October 26, 11am-1pm
Kick your weekend off with some family fun at Concourse Athletic Club. Members and guests can bring their kids in costume to Concourse Athletic Club. There will be activities, games and refreshments available. This event for Concourse members with a Kids Club reservation and $5 per child for guests.
Emily’s Trick-or-Treat for a Cure
Saturday, October 26, 3pm-5pm
This special Halloween party is a family-friendly event that raises money for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation in loving memory of Emily Moore. There will be trick-or-treating, a costume contest, a silent auction, face painting, arts and crafts, music and more. The event is on October 26 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church. Tickets are $10 per child or $25 per family and it is to the public.
Pumpkin Paint & Decorate
Saturday, October 26, 5pm-8pm
Dec'd Out and Dakoro Art Studio invite the young and the young at heart to their first annual Pumpkin Paint and Decorate party! RSVP and bring your own pumpkin and they will provide paint, decorating supplies candy and snacks. Get into the Halloween spirit while expressing your creativity. This event is family friendly, but all ages are welcome.
Saturday, October 26, 5pm-7pm
The City of Sandy Springs is hosting a Halloween celebration for the whole family. Little ones can dress up and trick-or-treat along the Abernathy Greenway. The unique playable art park will be decked out with candy, face painting and photo stations. This event is free and open to the public.
Battle & Brew Halloween Party
Saturday, October 26, 7pm-1am
Battle & Brew is hosting not one but two spooky themed events this October. They are kicking things off with a Halloween party on Saturday, October 26. They will have food and drink specials, music, dancing and more. Guests are encouraged to come in costume. The party is from 7 pm to 1 am.
District M Halloween Block Party
Saturday, October 26, 10pm-2 am
Get your costumes ready for District M's late night block party. This Halloween themed bash will have a costume contest, live music and food and drink specials. The first prize winner of the costume contest will win a $300 gift card!
Gialloween
Sunday, October 27, 6pm-11pm
il Giallo Osteria and Bar will be hosting their fourth annual Halloween party on Sunday, October 27, 2019. The party starts at 6 p.m. and costs $69. Tickets include food, liquor and wine. There will be live music and guests are encouraged to wear costumes. All guests must be 21 or older to attend.
Hocus Pocus Trivia and Paint Party
Wednesday, October 30, 7pm-9pm
Painting with a Twist's first Hocus Pocus event was so popular that they decided to do an encore. Grab your best witches and BYOB (bring your own brew) to this fun night painting a Sanderson Sisters design.
Wednesday, October 30, 8pm-10:30pm
Battle & Brew's weekly greek trivia will be extra spooky on the night before Halloween. They will have special questions about all things creepy, evil and haunted. Make your reservations through Yelp to secure your team's spot.
Trunk or Treat at Pontoon Brewing
Thursday, October 31, 6pm-8pm
Looking for a safe and fun place to take your kids trick-or-treating on Halloween? Pontoon has you covered! This event is both kid and dog friendly! There will be a trunk decorating contest, a kids costume contest and a pet costume contest. Brainfood Grilled Cheese will also be onsite selling themed treats.
Halloween at Battle & Brew
Thursday, October 31, 7pm-1am
Battle & Brew will be open on Halloween night Thursday, October 31 for guests who are ready to get dressed up and party! The restaurant will also be decked out with art from local artists celebrating monsters for the last several weeks of October. All the art will be on sale!
Nightmare on Pontoon Street
Saturday, November 2, 8:30pm-1:30am
Head to Pontoon Brewing for an extra night of Halloween celebration. They are hosting an all you can drink Halloween bash and costume contest on November 2, 2019 from 8 pm to 1 am. Tickets are $30. There will be prizes for best overall costume, scariest costume, funniest costume and best couple costume. Brainfood Grilled Cheese Food Truck will be onsite with food for purchase.
