Team-building is a vital part of any successful team, office, or corporation. Cultivating chemistry between your staff and/or coworkers leads to higher office morale and productivity. Plus, it's just another excuse to do something fun!

Splatter Studio

Inspired by the action painting movement of the mid-20th century, Splatter Studio offers you a haven to express your creativity freely. Throw, shoot, splatter, or however you wish to paint is all up to you! Bring your team to this non-traditional spot to let loose, and see what kind of masterpieces can be created! They offer party options, so you can rent out the whole building just for your team.

Mastermind Escape Games

If you're looking for an activity that requires teamwork, look no further than Mastermind Escape Games. If you've never done an escape room, let me tell you, it can require every ounce of brain power you have to solve. You'll get to see your coworkers true colors come out when the stress is on and the clock is counting down.

Will Suzie from accounting be the hero and know to point the magnifying glass at just the right spot on the wall to unveil the final clue? Or will she just bang on the door frantically until time is up? There's only one way to find out; book a room at Mastermind Escape Games!

Day on the River

Sandy Springs is home to over 22 miles of the Chattahoochee River shoreline, and Nantahala Outdoor Center offers guided rafting, tubing, paddleboarding, and kayaking trips for over 100+ plus people at a time.

Don't get it twisted, rafting with six people in one boat requires more teamwork than you think. It requires all parties involved to work in tandem, which is much easier said than done. If one side isn't communicating with the other, you'll just be spinning in circles,  stuck on a rock, and wishing you chose the tube instead! When all goes well, however, rafting can be one of the most rewarding experiences you can do!

Bury The Hatchet

Build trust and comradery by hurling axes at targets with your workmates at Bury The Hatchet. See which one of your coworkers would've been the top dog in Medieval times, when they put their accuracy to the test. Bury The Hatchet offers corporate events as well, so this is the perfect spot for your office! Maybe even put a promotion on the line for the best thrower, that would really spark some competition!

Steel Canyon Golf

It’s a bit of cliché, but golfing with your coworkers is one of the best ways to really get to know each other! Spending 3-4 hours, all with the common goal of keeping the golf ball in the fairway and trying to not shank 3-foot putts, is where you really bond on a deeper level.

Steel Canyon is the perfect course for both beginner and seasoned players! It’s a shorter course, which will make for a better experience for the new guys, while also being fun target practice for those PGA professionals every office has.

The Sipping Plant

Crafting a terrarium on its own is a super cool and unique activity these days, but adding in some adult beverages to the mix makes it that much more entertaining! The Sipping Plant offers guided classes to create your own masterpiece of succulent art. Put together a tropical rainforest-inspired piece, or maybe a quaint cacti biome. Either way,  you'll walk away with some great desk decor.

Painting With a Twist

Grab yourself a glass of chardonnay and a paintbrush, and head over to Painting With a Twist for another creative adventure. This is a good option if you're looking for a more laid-back environment and activity, but who knows, if the drinks keep flowing you might have yourself a full-on party. And don't worry if you aren't a picasso-level artist, it's a guided painting experience and they teach you all you need to know.

Springs Cinema & Taphouse

The Springs Cinema & Taphouse is a bar/movie theater that you can rent out for your next company event! It could be to watch an important sporting event, to play video games, to watch your favorite movies, to do funny presentations, it’s all up to your imagination!

If your staff has been underperforming you could even use this as a punishment; rent out a room, put on the 2019 version of Cats, and lock the doors. That'll set them straight!

Young Chefs

While Young Chefs specializes in children’s cooking classes, they also offer adult-only, team-building-specific classes! Scope out which one in the office bakes the best pie, and make sure to designate them as all-time Christmas party dessert maker!
