Susansnaps

Susansnaps has an incredible story behind it, made even sweeter by its delicious cookies! Co-owner, Susan Stachler, was only 22 years old, and a week from her college graduation, when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. Her mother, Laura Stachler, would bring homemade gingersnaps to Susan while she was in treatment, and she would share them with other patients to brighten their day. Soon enough, neighbors, friends, and family got word of these unique gingersnaps, and thus a business was born. Read the complete story and order some flavored snaps on their website!

Strive Foods

If you want to feel like a superhero, then you need to have a meal at Strive Foods! Owner and head chef, Claudine Sellers, wanted to bring her years of culinary experience to Sandy Springs and offer the community a healthy, plant-based dining option. They have a rotating menu that changes based on what foods are in season, what fresh ingredients they have, and how creative the chefs are feeling that day! That's where Strive Foods separates itself from the pack. They just want to make healthy, nutritiously dense foods that taste great, and they do just that! You even have the option to pre-order from an extensive list of meals, which they will have ready for you the next day. *Orders must be placed prior to 10am the day before pickup.

La Dee Da Studio

Creativity and artistic expression are not always things that are prevalent in many children's lives. That's where La Dee Da Studio owner, Sughandha Rosenhaft, felt that she could make a difference. Coming from a household with two parents that encouraged creative freedom, Rosenhaft wanted to provide a space for kids to experience that same feeling. She stated in an interview with Shoutout Atlanta, "I wanted children to be able to come and explore their surroundings and senses through art and in an environment that was open, warm, and inviting." La Dee Da Studio offers in-person and at-home art camps for ages ranging from 3 to 14. They also offer DIY craft kits, such as a spring-themed birdhouse and a paint-your-own bunny piggy bank.

J. Wills Children's Shop

J. Wills was founded in 2016 when Julie Williams, a new mother, had a hard time finding timeless, Southern attire to dress her daughter in. She scoured online boutiques and brick-and-mortar retailers, but never found quite what she was looking for. Instead of giving up, she decided she should just do it herself! Fast forward to now, J. Wills is a thriving business that curates pieces from trusted brands as well as up-and-coming designers. They are sure to have the perfect style for your little ones, and they offer an extensive selection at varying prices. Now is the perfect time to shop their spring & summer collection!

And we haven't gotten to their deliciously fresh-brewed coffee yet! Enjoy a perfectly-crafted latte and a "Womelette" (a waffle + omelette combo) for a true "Just Love" experience. Franchisee owner, Amanda Singer, loves to serve her customers, and she enjoys brightening the day of everyone who walks into her coffee shop. She's also passionate about supporting dog rescues. A portion of all sales goes to local rescue groups, and Amanda often hosts adoption events of her own!

Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop

There aren't many things in this world better than a good, old-fashioned pie, and franchisee owner, Kimmie Chung, knows that better than anyone! She decided to pursue baking as a profession when her son, Ben, brought her a slice of pie from Buttermilk Sky Pie. She said, "That slice of pie took me back 20 years...", and flooded her with memories of her home in South Korea. When she moved to the United States, she had almost nothing to her name, and her success as a business owner is a product of pure hard work and determination. So the next time you have a craving for a baked treat, order a slice from Kimmie's Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop!
