Spring into the New Season in Sandy Springs

The Lantern Parade is a magical evening of glowing lanterns and larger-than-life puppets. Families create their own lanterns, then join the festive procession down to Morgan Falls Overlook Park by the Chattahoochee River.

Know Before You Go

• Parking is available in the City Springs parking deck, accessible from Mt. Vernon Highway. ADA parking spaces are available. Learn more about getting to City Springs 

• Blankets, lawn chairs (preferably low-backed chairs) and umbrellas are allowed. Please lower your umbrellas when the music starts. 
• Please do not move existing bistro tables and chairs on the plaza.
• No outside tables, no tents.
• No pets on the City Green. Service animals are permitted. 
• No smoking or vaping.
• Outdoor public restrooms are available.

The Sandy Springs Farmers Market showcases local and regional vendors, providing an open-air opportunity to purchase fresh produce, artisan foods, and handmade crafts. The market is held at City Springs, near the beautiful City Green, and often includes live music and performances, which makes it the perfect way to start your Saturday.

The Sandy Springs Farmers Market was recently voted a Best of Georgia Winner in the "Produce Markets & Local Farm" category by the Georgia Business Journal, so this is something any food, craft, and/or environmental enthusiast would enjoy!

Food That Rocks is a tasting experience like no other, celebrating the Sandy Springs restaurant scene! Enjoy food, wine, beer, and cocktail tastings, plus live music, chef demonstrations, and more!  This event is rain or shine; you must be 21 and over to attend.

Young guests can enjoy a special “Prince and Princess” Meet & Greet on April 5, with cast photos and autographs before the show. Community groups are welcome, and Girl Scout troops can reserve a commemorative patch.
