Join Sandy Springs Hospitality & Tourism, The National Park Service and The City of Sandy Springs for the 8th Annual Summer Splash at the Chattahoochee River.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. (boats will be launched from 8:30 a.m. – noon only). The Summer Splash has been designed as a fun and relaxing way for local families and visitors to enjoy the Chattahoochee River by providing a safe venue for an enjoyable and relaxing six mile float. You will float the Chattahoochee River from Morgan Falls Dam to Powers Island in rafts, canoes, paddle boards, and kayaks; please no paddle boats or tubes. Following the float, there will be food, music, kid’s activities, wildlife programs, exhibitors, and more at Powers Island. Bring your kayak, canoe or raft, or rent from one of the participating outfitters.  The outfitters and links to their sites are listed on the Welcome Letter that you receive when you register.  To register for the 2015 Summer Splash, Click here.
