Speed Week is a series of seven races in seven southeastern cities that begins in Athens, Georgia and ends with the finale in Sandy Springs. Nationally-ranked athletes take to the streets to contest the series as well as qualifying positions in the USA CRITS Series Finals. Preceding the Speed Week Finale is the 62-mile Global Imports Sandy Springs Cycling Challenge ride.

Enjoy an action-packed, fast-paced family fun day at the 5th Annual Global Imports Sandy Springs Cycling Challenge. Riders will receive a technical t-shirt and a new finish line with free sandwiches and drinks for participating riders. All proceeds go to support Sandy Springs' Police and Fire Departments and the charities they support (Special Olympics and the Police Department Benevolent Fund). After the ride, enjoy the Inaugural Sandy Springs Food & Wine Classic.

Paired with the 5th Annual Sandy Springs Cycling Challenge, the Inaugural Sandy Springs Food & Wine Classic welcomes 30 local restaurants, caterers, bakers and more to showcase their goods to the guests during this one-day event in the heart of Sandy Springs.
The event will be held along the cycling route, with exciting views of the races and finish line.
