Southern Bistro is a true southern staple serving lowcountry-inspired food. You can’t go wrong with any of the items on the menu, but our go-to starter is always the pimento cheese. For your main course, make sure to try another southern classic like fried chicken or shrimp and grits. Traveling with your dog? Southern Bistro has a large dog-friendly patio that is perfect place to hang out with your pup.

Today, Hewlett Lodge is the National Park Service headquarters for the Chattahoochee River National Recreational Center, as well as the park's Welcome Center. Stop in before heading out for a hike along the trails at Island Ford.
