The Sparkle Village is an outdoor light display at City Springs. It features tiny houses lovingly decorated with fun holiday themes by local businesses and organizations. With twinkling lights on the house and trees, and a giant Christmas tree and a Menorah, there are endless photo opportunities!
See a show at City Springs
With the season of joy upon us, there's no better way to get into a jolly spirit than seeing magical live performances at City Springs. The Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center at City Springs is hosting a variety of holiday-themed programming including a jazz show from Atlanta's own Joe Alterman and a New Year's Eve celebration with a performance from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Painting With A Twist
Painting with a Twist is an art studio that offers easy to follow painting classes where you can bring your own snacks and drinks. They have several holiday-themed projects that will make great décor for your home! They also offer at-home painting kits that provide everything you or a loved one would need to complete a piece at home with the help of a video tutorial.
Tour Downton Abbey
Downton Abbey: The Exhibition, based on the beloved television show, is celebrating the holidays in Atlanta, bringing the Crawley family holiday spirit to its halls with stunning Christmas decor, plus a new “Holiday Treat Package.” Visitors can explore the decorated halls of Highclere Castle and memorable sets in Downton Abbey, complete with beautifully dressed Christmas trees, dining room decor befitting for a lavish holiday feast, lights that illuminate the holiday magic and more.
The exhibit runs for a limited time in Sandy Springs, and transports you to post-Edwardian England, where the characters and the iconic house come to life. You’ll be immersed in the fascinating social history, culture, and some of the most memorable moments from the show’s six-season run.

Who doesn’t love a festive themed drink? The Select has transformed into a winter wonderland for the holiday season. Grab a delicious cocktail and snap some Instagram worthy photos.
Go Ice Skating At Center Ice Arena
Enjoy a classic winter activity at the local ice skating rink, Center Ice Arena. They are open for public skating daily during the holidays and admission is only $10.

Garden Lights Holiday Nights at the Atlanta Botanical Garden
Experience the Atlanta Botanical Garden at night with a special light display for the holidays. With limited capacity and health and safety protocols in place, Garden Lights, Holiday Nights returns Nov. 13, 2021 – Jan. 15, 2022. Tickets, available only online, go on sale Sept. 24 to Garden members and Oct. 1 to the general public. Last admission sold at 10 p.m.
Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Georgia
Christmas trees and more than one million LED lights to create holiday magic select nights Nov 20 - Jan 2. In addition to being able to enjoy classic rides like Goliath and the historic Riverview Carousel while the park is lit up, there special holiday experiences, shows and tasty treats.
See A Chinese Lantern Festival at Zoo Atlanta
Zoo Atlanta has turned into a nighttime wonderland just in time for the holidays with IllumiNights at the Zoo: A Chinese Lantern Festival. The festival introduces visitors to a nighttime wonderland featuring vistas of hand-crafted, illuminated wildlife and awe-inspiring sights celebrating the diversity of the natural world. The event will debut to the public on Monday, November 22, 2021, excluding Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and will be open through Sunday, January 16, 2022.
