Support A Sandy Springs Brewery on Georgia Beer Day
Georgia has a booming craft brewery scene, including Sandy Springs’ own Pontoon Brewing. Georgia Beer Day was created to celebrate and support the local beer community through the Georgia Craft Brewers Guild. To celebrate, head to Pontoon Brewing on March 6, where you can score a limited edition Georgia Beer Day pint glass. Purchase a pint of beer, and keep the glass while supplies last. One dollar of every beer sold will go to support the Georgia Craft Brewers Guild. Pontoon also has a spacious outdoor with many picnic tables for customers to spread out on while they enjoy their beer.
Enjoy The best popcorn in Sandy Springs at The Springs Cinema and Taphouse
There is no better popcorn than movie theater popcorn. It’s just a fact of life. Popcorn tastes better when you're sitting in a comfortable theater chair watching a great movie. That’s why you should celebrate National Popcorn Lovers Day on March 11 at the movies! Luckily for us, Sandy Springs is home to one of the best movie theaters around. The Springs Cinema and Taphouse features heated reclining seats, a full bar with craft beers on tap, a menu with variety of pizzas, sandwiches and other entrees, and of course amazing popcorn. They also show the latest blockbuster films and independent features, so you're sure to find something wonderful to watch while you enjoy this classic movie snack. Because St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Wednesday this year, Thos. O’Reilly’s Public House is celebrating with different events from Saturday March 13 to Saturday March 20. They'll be using their side lot for live music, corn hole games, and more all week long, so guests can spread out and still have some St. Patrick’s Day fun. Take a Hike to Enjoy the First Day of spring and Daylights Savings Time
We don’t know about you, but we're beyond ready for spring. You can rejoice in the greenery and great weather the new season brings after March 20 by enjoying some time in one of the many wonderful parks in Sandy Springs.
