They say Battle & Brew, a famed gamer bar in Sandy Springs, has some of the best tots in town. We’ve been there many times, and the truth is, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Especially if you pair it with the perfect video game. Press “Start” and we’ll share our favorite 8 bites to enjoy with Battle & Brew games (not just the 8 bit kind).

1. The Meal: Phoenix Dip

The Game: “Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil”

Like a phoenix rising up from the ashes, just try and rise up to the challenge of this seriously game-day-ready dip that’s chock-a-block full Buffalo chicken, cream cheese, and sour cream. Paired with a healthy helping of tortilla chips, it’s the ultimate snack food to munch on while taking on the demons of “Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil.”

2. The Meal: Wild Wild West

The Game: “Madden 17”

Few things were wilder than John Madden’s tenure at the Oakland Raiders, a once-great west coast football team that could use a serious boost from the old boss these days. We’re not sure a move to Las Vegas can help them, but a few bites from the Wild Wild West burger certainly could. Boost your own play with this protein behemoth (chicken, black bean, or “smash” style) that packs a punch with pickled jalapenos, salsa, and cheddar. Wash it all down with “Madden 17,” a cold beer, and your best dudes, dude.

Battle & Brew: Great for moms, too!

3. The Meal: Yoshi’s Egg

The Game: “Yoshi’s Wooly World”

Well, this one’s a given. Yoshi’s Egg is a 6-minute egg with Soy Mirin Broth, Sesame and a Sushi Rice Cake. It is best enjoyed with a rowdy game of “Yoshi’s Wooly World,” a Wii U game featuring a yarn Yoshi in a knitted world. Yep, they make all kinds of video games these days. “Mario Kart,” “Mario Party 9” and “Super Mario Galaxy 2” are also great options available at Battle & Brew.

4. The Meal: Triforce Nachos

The Game: “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”

This dish, composed of seasoned ground beef, chorizo, chicken, queso blanco, cheddar, beans, lime lettuce, corn salsa and sour cream obviously goes with “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” on Nintendo Switch.

5. The Meal: Turkey Bacon Croissant + I Yam Who I Yam

The Game: “Fight Night Rd. 4”

Hear us out with this one. Fighters gotta be light on their toes—and gamers gotta be light on their controllers. Turkey, bacon, avocado, and chipotle ranch are piled high on a light (are you picking up on our theme?) croissant. Let the hecklers heckle—you know what’s best for your body on match day. Plus, after tearing up your opponents, you’ll still have room for dessert. We recommend a nice little dish of “I Yam Who I Yam,” to finish off another successful day in the ring.

6. The Meal: Fried Chicken Parmesan Sandwich

The Game: “Super Smash Bros”

The Mario Brothers love this mouth-watering masterpiece featuring fried chicken, tomato sauce, mozzarella, parmesan and provolone on a hoagie bun with a choice of side. Turn on “Super Smash Bros” and destroy this sandwich before Donkey Kong gets his hands on it.

7. The Meal: Dragon Talons

The Game: “The Elder Scrolls Skyrim”

Some scientists say chickens are the closest relative to dinosaurs. Hence, dragon talons equal chicken fingers. These bad boys go perfectly with “The Elder Scrolls Skyrim,” a video game featuring fire-breathing dragons. Wash it all down with a thirst-quenching pint of BnB Lager.

No meal is complete without a tasty creation from the B&B cocktail menu. Try the Lemony Snickets!

8. The Meal: Cho’Gath’s Feast

The Game: “League of Legends”

Pizza party! This game is great for groups and this pizza is perfect for sharing. Cho’Gath’s Feast is a pita pizza loaded with pepperoni, chorizo, chicken, bacon, ham, Mozzarella and tomato sauce. Cho’Gath, also known as “The Terror of the Void,” is a monster-like character in “League of Legends” whose skills include “carnivore.” Hence the meaty pizza.
