World Water Day: Brews. Boats & Bands for Better Rivers


Water lovers unite for Georgia River Network’s sixth annual Brews, Boats & Bands for Better Rivers event in celebration of World Water Day, supporting clean water efforts in Georgia. Join with friends and family from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on June 14, 2020 – World Water Day – for a relaxing Sunday filled with craft beer, music, gourmet food trucks, a raffle from Outside World Outfitters, silent auction and more at Pontoon Brewing in Sandy Springs.

As the voice of Georgia’s rivers, Georgia River Network prides itself in helping everyone enjoy, connect with and advocate for economically vital and clean flowing rivers. Brews, Boats & Bands for Better Rivers is a fun opportunity to gather together, toast supporters and raise funds to assist in cleaning local Georgia rivers. Hosted at Pontoon Brewing, the event’s presenting sponsor, this family friendly venue offers complimentary parking and allows friendly dogs to join too.

Advance tickets are available for sale now for $30/adult and $15/kids. Each adult ticket includes one chance to win Outside World Outfitters’ kayak raffle, live music by Rob Jordan and friends, 2 craft beer tickets from Pontoon Brewing, a choice of cuisine with beverage from gourmet food trucks, a silent auction featuring great gear and Outside World Outfitters Boat Demo, and more. Extra raffle tickets may be purchased when buying event tickets online for $10/each or 6 for $50, though please note you must be present at the event to win the raffle. The boat being raffled is a Nucanoe Flint in the Nuclear color, an excellent choice for fishermen or regular recreational boaters and has the ability to be custom outfitted for the lucky winner.
