Heritage Sandy Springs presents “Haunted Sandy Springs”, a night of eerie entertainment and education just in time for Halloween.
Haunted Sandy Springs is free and open to the public. The event begins at the Williams-Payne House (Heritage Sandy Springs Museum) where guests can enjoy live music, psychic readings, fire pit & s’mores bar, and a special screening of “Hocus Pocus.” Food trucks and beverages (including some “spirits”) will be available for purchase. Those in full costume will receive one ticket for a free drink--kids get soda/water, 21+ can choose something a little stronger. ;-)
Brave souls can also walk with ghosts through historic Sandy Springs! Haunted Sandy Springs will feature ticketed tours of the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, the OLDEST Cemetery in Sandy Springs. Tours last approximately 60 minutes, covering half a mile of haunted history. Tickets for the tours are $15. Tours are limited to 15 people per group and will sell out quickly! Some mature content; ages 16+ recommended. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There are six time slots to choose from: 7:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 8:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9:00 p.m., and 9:30 p.m. All tours will begin at the Williams-Payne House Garden Room (lower level of the Heritage Sandy Springs Museum.)
This event is made possible in partnership with the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church, and is sponsored by Sandy Springs Chapel, Phoenix and Dragon Bookstore, and S&S Fire Pits. The Williams-Payne House is located at 6075 Sandy Springs Circle. Free parking is available on Sandy Springs Place in designated lots.
