Dessert Foundations


A great dessert starts with the fundamentals, and that's what this class is all about. In our classic, hands on format, Yes, Chef! owner, Cyndi Sterne, will be teaching Pate Sablee (shortbread tart dough), chocolate ganache for tarts, glazes, and truffles, pastry cream, creme anglaise, raspberry coulis and pate a choux. Hal's Kitchen will be demonstrating assembly techniques, various flavorings, and plating. Heavy snacks will be served, and attendees will leave with finished tarts and desserts. $75 per person, children 13 and older are welcome with an adult attending.
