American Girl and Boy Club: Melody Showcases Motown Music


This monthly program lets participants travel through time via the perspectives of the brave and spunky history characters of the beloved book series, learning history in an interactive and fun way. Each program will include a hands-on activity, craft, and snack.

Melody is a spunky nine-year old growing up in 1960s Detroit, Michigan during the Civil Rights Movement. Melody enjoys singing and gardening, and wants to share the history of the civil rights through the power of Motown. Come join Heritage Sandy Springs as they highlight one of the most important movements in history through the power of music.

$8 advance for members and $10 advance for non-members. Best suited for ages 5-12. Don’t forget to bring your favorite doll with you!
