It seems like every time you log into Twitter, there's a new trending day dedicated to pets, food, hobbies, and pretty much every other passion point that exists in the universe. It may seem silly, but these smaller holidays and themed celebrations can help break up your routine and make otherwise average days a little more memorable. We've rounded up a list of fun days worth celebrating to help you make the most out of March.

Support A Sandy Springs Brewery on Georgia Beer Day

Georgia has a booming craft brewery scene, including Sandy Springs’ own Pontoon Brewing. Georgia Beer Day was created to celebrate and support the local beer community through the Georgia Craft Brewers Guild. To celebrate, head to Pontoon Brewing on March 6, where you can score a limited edition Georgia Beer Day pint glass. Purchase a pint of beer, and keep the glass while supplies last. One dollar of every beer sold will go to support the Georgia Craft Brewers Guild. Pontoon also has a spacious outdoor with many picnic tables for customers to spread out on while they enjoy their beer.

Enjoy The best popcorn in Sandy Springs at The Springs Cinema and Taphouse

There is no better popcorn than movie theater popcorn. It’s just a fact of life. Popcorn tastes better when you're sitting in a comfortable theater chair watching a great movie. That’s why you should celebrate National Popcorn Lovers Day on March 11 at the movies! Luckily for us, Sandy Springs is home to one of the best movie theaters around. The Springs Cinema and Taphouse features heated reclining seats, a full bar with craft beers on tap, a menu with variety of pizzas, sandwiches and other entrees, and of course amazing popcorn. They also show the latest blockbuster films and independent features, so you're sure to find something wonderful to watch while you enjoy this classic movie snack. The Springs Cinema and Taphouse also has a drive-in movie series on the weekend and an app for ticket and food purchases for a more limited contact experience.

Treat Yourself To A Delicious Pie on Pi Day

Okay we want to have some clever math joke to put here, but we’re too busy dreaming about which yummy southern style pie from Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop we'll buy on March 14. Their classic flavors include pecan, Granny apple, chocolate cream, key lime, southern custard and more. You can also take Pi Day up a notch by having pizza for dinner from one of Sandy Springs’ many wonderful pizza places. Consider checking out one of the newest spots in town, Plant Based Pizza which serves up 100 percent vegan pies.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at an Irish Pub

Because St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Wednesday this year, Thos. O’Reilly’s Public House is celebrating with different events from Saturday March 13 to Saturday March 20. They'll be using their side lot for live music, corn hole games, and more all week long, so guests can spread out and still have some St. Patrick’s Day fun. Those who want to celebrate at home or in their own hotel room can order classic pub food from Thos. online for carryout or curbside pickup.

Take a Hike to Enjoy the First Day of spring and Daylights Savings Time

We don’t know about you, but we're beyond ready for spring. You can rejoice in the greenery and great weather the new season brings after March 20 by enjoying some time in one of the many wonderful parks in Sandy Springs. Families, dog owners, and casual hikers may enjoy an easy stroll around Morgan Falls Overlook Park or Island Ford, and more experience hikers will love the challenges and views of East Palisades. Make sure to take advantage of the longer days brought to us by Day Lights Saving, too, starting on March 14.

Give Your Dog The Best Day Ever

Okay, we know it feels like there are 100 social media holidays dedicated to dogs, but what pet owner can resist making a day a little extra special for their pet? National Puppy Day is March 23, so consider treating your best bud to an afternoon at Morgan Falls Dog Park followed by treats from Dog City Bakery. Just make sure to tag Visit Sandy Springs in any cute Instagram photos you post of your pup!
