Access to Sandy Springs, Georgia is provided by two major highways, Georgia 400 and Interstate 285, that intersect within the city along with four MARTA (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) rapid rail stations throughout the area (www.itsmarta.com). There are also a number of options for alternative transportation services.

511Live provides real-time traffic maps, points of interest and special offers for visitors to Sandy Springs through an iPhone App, roads signs, phone system and the Georgia NaviGAtor website. You can access special offers and find businesses in Sandy Springs in the “511 Places and Offers” section.
The iPhone application puts all of the information found on the phone and web at the fingertips of iPhone users, including up-to-the-minute traffic information, construction information and mobile viewing of the live camera feeds.

MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) provides public transportation via bus and rail service.
Four MARTA rapid rail stations serve Sandy Springs:
- N8 – Medical Center Station – 5711 Peachtree-Dunwoody Road, NE
- N9 – Dunwoody Station – 1111 Hammond Drive
- N10 – Sandy Springs Station – 1101 Mount Vernon Highway
- N11 – North Springs Station – 7010 Peachtree-Dunwoody Road
Rail service is available to major attractions in downtown Atlanta, and to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Riders purchase an empty Breeze Ticket for 50 cents (good for 90 days) and load it with a specified amount to cover fares; one-way fares are $2.00 per person.
The Visitor Pass offers a volume discount fare, of up to 15% on pre-paid orders, for unlimited, system-wide transportation. A regular one-trip fare cost $2.00 plus .50 Breeze Ticket surcharge ($2.50) and includes transfers within MARTA/ or other regional transit agencies.
