MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) provides public transportation via bus and rail service.
Four MARTA rapid rail stations serve Sandy Springs:
* N8 - Medical Center Station - 5711 Peachtree-Dunwoody Road, NE
* N9 - Dunwoody Station - 1111 Hammond Drive
* N10 - Sandy Springs Station - 1101 Mount Vernon Highway
* N11 - North Springs Station - 7010 Peachtree-Dunwoody Road

Rail service is available to major attractions in downtown Atlanta, and to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Riders purchase an empty Breeze Ticket for 50 cents (good for 90 days) and load it with a specified amount to cover fares; one-way fares are $2.00 per person.

The Visitor Pass offers a volume discount fare, of up to 15% on pre-paid orders, for unlimited, system-wide transportation. A regular one-trip fare cost $2.00 plus .50 Breeze Ticket surcharge ($2.50) and includes transfers within MARTA/ or other regional transit agencies.
