The 10th annual Abbeville Institute Scholars’ Conference titled, “The War Between the States: Other Voices, Other Views,” will held at Stone Mountain Park near Atlanta. President Abraham Lincoln and his political allies often acted as an embattled minority in the North. The Sesquicentennial offers an opportunity to explore other viewpoints. Speakers to include Douglas Bostick, Kent Masterson Brown, Richard Gamble, Marshall Derosa, Donald Livingston, Brion McClanahan, Allen Mendenhall, Joseph Stromberg, Richard Valentine, Jonathan White, and Clyde Wilson.
