The Sandy Springs Police Department offers its monthly Georgia Teens Ride With P.R.I.D.E. (Parents Reducing Injuries and Driver Error) class. This is a national-award winning course designed to help parents and their new or potential teen drivers, ages 14 to 16, learn what they need to do during the 40 hours of supervised practice driving time required by state law. This program addresses driver attitude, knowledge and behavior of both the parent and the new teen driver. A parent must accompany each teen. Registration is required.
